The frame is made of heavy gauge aluminum. The joints in the box are not fastened with self-tapping screws, but are factory welded together

The door thickness is 60 mm. This gives a soundproofing advantage over standard doors. There is a special strip under the door, which is recessed to the depth of the shadow gap and reduces the passage of sound and draughts
